In diesem Buch wurde intensiv untersucht, wie sich die Einstellung der Mädchen zur Bildung auf ihre Leistungen auswirkt, wie sich die Einstellung der Lehrer zur Bildung der Mädchen auf die Leistungen der Mädchen auswirkt, wie sich die unerlaubte Beziehung der Lehrer zu den Mädchen auf die schulischen Leistungen der Mädchen auswirkt und wie sich das Selbstkonzept der Mädchen auf ihre schulischen Leistungen auswirkt. Diese Studie wurde in Sekundarschulen im Unterbezirk Kenyenya im Bezirk Kisii in Kenia durchgeführt.
