Флавоноиды, алкалоиды и дубильные вещества идентифицировали при предварительном скрининге растительного экстракта. Мышей использовали для тестирования, и пероральные дозы экстракта не показали смертности. Экстракт проявлял анальгетическую активность через центральные и периферические механизмы, жаропонижающую активность и противовоспалительное действие на различных животных моделях. Флавоноиды и дубильные вещества, присутствующие в экстракте, могут способствовать его терапевтическим свойствам. Для понимания лежащих в основе механизмов рекомендуется проведение дальнейших исследований с использованием различных воспалительных агентов.
