With candor, humor, and rough edges, he recounts his journey from barrooms and ironwork to salvation, Bible school, and a call to preach. Dick and Carla eventually founded Jubilee Christian Center, which grew from fourteen people to nearly 22,000 members. My Wife Went to Heaven So I Wouldn’t Go to Hell! is a true, hope-filled story of grace, marriage, answered prayer, miracles, calling, and surrender-a reminder that no one is beyond God’s reach.
