Este estudo tem como objetivo avaliar a qualidade de vida e os níveis de depressão entre os doentes com estádios avançados de doença renal crónica (DRC) e doença renal em fase terminal (DRT) submetidos a hemodiálise. Procura identificar os factores de risco relacionados com a DRC, avaliar o estado físico e mental dos doentes com DRT em hemodiálise e medir a qualidade de vida utilizando o questionário SF-36. Além disso, pretende analisar as diferenças entre géneros e grupos etários na qualidade de vida, comparar os sistemas de componentes físicos e mentais dos doentes utilizando as medidas PCS e MCS e avaliar os níveis de depressão com base no questionário HDRS. O estudo procura também examinar vários factores de risco associados à doença renal crónica.
