There are many different kinds of firefighters. There is a variety of firefighting jobs, positions, and types of equipment and resources available to different kinds of firefighters. It is important to know what the equipment is and how the firefighters use the equipment. Children discovering that there are different kinds of firefighters will unleash their imagination and possibilities. Each of these types of firefighters is so critical in the world we live in to help protect us. More important than which firefighter do you want to be, is What Kind of Firefighter Do You Want To Be. The characteristics, values and love that you show through your everyday actions in all that you do is the most important. Our responsibility as a community is to teach our children values. This is the Kind of Person you should always strive to be. Believe in yourself. Be positive. Speak kindly to everyone. Show grace and understanding. Show courage by doing the right thing. Help others. Include everyone. Don’t be a bully. Speak up when other’s are bullied. Doing the right thing is always the right thing to do. Kindness matters and love will always win.
