La situación descrita es lo que ha determinado que la Organización de Naciones Unidas, mediante la llamada ONU-Mujer inste a los Estados para que adopten medidas sociales y jurídicas dirigidas a la prevención y enfrentamiento a este flagelo. En este marco han sido aprobadas leyes para enfrentar la violencia de género contra la mujer. Actos de violencia que afecta a la humanidad, lacera al género humano y no escapa de nuestro referente real, siendo necesario su prevención, problemática que se le da respuesta en la presente obra.
