This Pocket Guide for unconventional warfare (UW) is designed for the researcher, academic and Unconventional Warfare practitioner as a ready reference covering the most critical information related to the conduct of unconventional warfare operations.This volume reviews UW theory, practices, and tactics, techniques, and procedures. Discussion is structured around the seven phases of Special Forces UW operations: Preparation; Initial contact; Infiltration;Organization; Buildup;Employment; and Transition. Each phase details a set of core activities for the soldier.
