These tears I cry, is a book with a very powerful message. It is a book of poetry and stories about the upcoming of my life, as well as the heartbreak that we face in the world today. These poems and stories are very intense, deep, emotional and inspiring. I’ve been through so much in my life that my life has become an inspiration to me, being that I had to face the world alone. Dealing with trauma, pain, shame as well as blame for the pain and suffering that I’ve endured in my life, fear, tears, rape, molestation, struggling with an eating disorder and near death experience. Due to the fact that I had taken my life’s pain out on myself, not realizing that I wasn’t to blame, but there were moments when I couldn’t bare the pain. And those are some of the reasons for the shame that I wish I could change, because if I had the wisdom that I have today, I would have done things in my life a different way. For life has been a horrific struggle and emotional battle, but my faith is what got me here today, and the gift has been more than rewarding, it has given me courage and strength to not only tell my story, but to help save and change lives, through these heartfelt inspiring poems that can make all the difference in our world, in our lives. Changing our outlook on the way we see the world today, by giving us hope, belief and faith. Expressing a very powerful message of hate, racism, criticism, violence, justice and unforgettable tragedy'. And people who fought with love, courage and strength, but lost their lives due to tragedy and violence of the world today. We owe it to them as well as to ourselves to make a better way. So please take time to read what just might change your life and make a difference.

‘There’s a touch of both Dickinson and Larkin in Jennifer Chrystie’s mature exhumation of the tales and tropes of family. Figures who could so easily flit like phantoms in her well honed poetry are palpably enjoying an after-life in the poet’s ability to redeem through deep understanding. The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular. Most of the poems examine the themes of beauty and risk, pleasure and danger, in the context of one of three kinds of relationships: to romantic partners, to the spiritual world, and to the world of nature....
