Asenath Scott
Asenath Scott grew up in the Caribbean and migrated to England where she completed nursing studies. She pursued a career in community health which was realized in acquiring a diploma in public health while in Jamaica, West Indies. Years later, she migrated to USA and became a school nurse. Her spiritual journey began when she was twelve years old at a Billy Graham crusade in her homeland. Her grandmother played an intricate role in her spiritual life as she was a Sunday school teacher who took her along with her to church. She also sang choruses and hymns. Bible study and daily devotion were introduced to the family when her step-mother came into our lives. These factors resulted in her desire to follow up on her first book Green Oasis with this book: 'Open the word of God for youth and children.' It allows for parents to participate in Bible study with their children. They in turn would pass it on to their generations.
