The Mechanics of the Cosmos proposes two foundational shifts in modern cosmology. The first is structural: the universe is treated as a real kinematic system organised around a central reference (CoG X), rather than as an expanding abstraction sustained by compensating assumptions. Motion is explicit, energy density is primary, and time progresses uniformly. Within this framework, dark matter is no longer required as a bookkeeping device, dark energy is unnecessary to sustain expansion, and spacetime curvature is replaced by direct descriptions of energy, motion, and constraint. The second shift is conceptual: cosmology moves from a particle-centric description to an energy-density framework. Particles are not treated as fundamental primitives, but as stable outcomes of energy organisation within the Cosmic Energy Cycle. Structure, mass, gravity, and fields emerge through threshold behaviour and constraint, not through the insertion of unseen entities.Together, these shifts lead to concrete consequences. A unified cosmic time scale replades stitched relativistic clocks. Observations from the James Webb Space Telescope are interpreted as positional states within a cosmic cycle rather than paradoxical 'early' formations. Large-scale structure is explained mechanically, using the same principles applied in engineering and physical systems analysis.By returning cosmology to explicit causality-define the system, identify governing forces, and track motion-The Mechanics of the Cosmos offers a coherent alternative to expansion-based models without discarding established physics. It replaces layered inference with mechanical continuity, and particle metaphors with energy realism. This book is written for readers who value explanation over accommodation, and coherence over complexity.
