Este livro apresenta os resultados de um estudo sobre compostos obtidos através da reação de clorofosforilação oxidativa de óleos vegetais, utilizados como reagentes para a remoção de finas películas de petróleo da superfície da água. Foram utilizadas emulsões aquosas dos reagentes sintetizados para a recolha ou dispersão da película de petróleo na superfície da água doce e da água do mar. Foram realizados estudos sobre a dependência da capacidade de dispersão e recolha dos reagentes em relação à sua concentração, quantidade, bem como à espessura da película de petróleo e à natureza do reagente utilizado.
