Setting Up a Windows Server 2003 Server

This study made it possible to create a secure environment based on the client-server model. This concept can effectively resolve the problems that daily compromise our environment, such as network congestion resulting from a lack of administrator oversight, as well as external attacks and intrusions, while still providing clients with services such as SMTP and POP3 email services and IIS 6.0 web services. To strengthen domain security and meet the administrator’s needs on Windows Server 2003, we will deploy Microsoft Internet Security & Acceleration Server 2004 (ISA) Server 2004, an advanced solution for application firewall, virtual private network (VPN), and web caching, which helps optimize existing IT investments.
