Cell Phone being viewed as a common man’s phone now, there will be better scope for telecom and related services in India. The important service providers in GSM market are Bharati Camp, BSNL, Hutchinson camp (Vodaphone), Idea Group, BPL Group, Spice group, Escotel group, Reliance Group, MTNL and others. The number of subscribers is increasing from 12,688 million in 2003 to 37,402 millions in 2005 and even far more now. There is a cut throat competition in GSM market. Each service provider has become more quality conscious and also customers centric.
