Ian Parker is a practicing psychoanalyst in Manchester and a revolutionary Marxist. He also writes, and his books include Socialisms: Revolutions Betrayed, Mislaid and Unmade (2020: Resistance Books) and, with the Mexican revolutionary David Pavón-Cuéllar, Psychoanalysis and Revolution: Critical Psychology for Liberation Movements (2021: 1968 Press).ABOUT THE BOOKThis crisis-ridden world is having disastrous effects on the climate, on our bodies and on our internal worlds, on how we feel and try to respond, on how we panic and on how we act collectively.
