Este libro se aproxima al debate sobre el pluralismo televisivo en Chile desde la realidad del sector regional, local y comunitario. Su objetivo principal es presentar los resultados de un levantamiento de datos sobre el pluralismo informativo existente en la televisión chilena abierta de carácter local, regional y comunitaria y las condicionantes para su medición estandarizada. Conocer las opiniones de las personas que dan vida a estas experiencias, identificar los problemas que enfrentan estos canales para establecer una memoria audiovisual de su trabajo y también evaluar su programación desde la perspectiva del pluralismo informativo. En este sentido, la investigación se propone avanzar en el desarrollo de condiciones que permitan almacenar, conocer y difundir la programación televisiva que estos canales generan. Pero también problematizar el modo en que este sector se puede sustentar económicamente para aportar a la diversidad audiovisual del país. 10
