Sobre IBD

The Plasma Neon Dream Series comes from exactly that - a dream - a dream erupting out from the darkness of another's dreaming. The colors are frozen moments in neon plasma. In the dream, breaking out of some androgynous ambivalence, the woman follows her physical, sexual recreation in her mirror, another reality. In the dream the subject doesn't look out from the intimacy of the mirror. She is alone, lost in the private moment unfolding, engrossed in what the mirror reveals. It's a private dream story made public through the printed page. 3

Starting in 2008, I began calling the best restaurants all over Miami and asking if I could go in their kitchens on their busiest nights and take photos for a couple of hours. A lot of times in life, all you gotta do is ask; and more importantly, follow through. Thankfully, everybody said, “Yes!” This artistic survey represents some of the best restaurant kitchens of Miami from...

My stories and photos are my memories. Some accounts may not be as others remember them, but they are memories that I recall and I have no reason to deny them. My life began at South Shore Hospital on the Southside of Chicago. After living in a number of bungalows my large family moved into the apartment above my father, Cash Erler’s camera and photo finishing busine...

  • And So It Began
    Jy Chiperzak
The novel 'And So It Began' is a mythic story of coming to terms with, then passing through, a chronic and debilitating disease: Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It is a drama of inner darkness, of one alone in pain, depression and cognitive disruption; of life, ’Self’ and soul that is stripped away to open the way to rebirth. Embarking on a psycho-spiritual journey that shifts his pe...
