Planowanie sieci radiowej i kompleksowe projektowanie systemu WiMAX. Obejmuje ono planowanie na niewielkim obszarze geograficznym. Obszarem docelowym był Uniwersytet Hamdard w Karaczi w Pakistanie. Uwzględniono wszystkie aspekty planowania. Szczegółowo omówiono badania terenowe, planowanie punktów dostępowych (AP), planowanie sektorów, planowanie częstotliwości, planowanie łączy zwrotnych oraz planowanie bram sieciowych. Do określenia rzeczywistego zasięgu wykorzystano również narzędzie planistyczne EDX Signal Pro. Ze względu na ograniczoną wersję programu przedstawiono jedynie dane przykładowe, które posłużyły do opracowania planu. EDX jest bardzo przydatny zarówno do planowania sieci komórkowych, jak i sieci WiMAX.
