DARLENE SREDL
Reference text on significant physiological bodily changes induced by altitude variations that compromise WNL (within normal limits) health status, including oxygenation, vacuolization, decreases in barometric pressure, fatigue intolerance (jet lag), spatial orientation issues, decompression syndrome, transplant organ deterioration caused by altitude density fluctuations, as well as a discussion of significant health problems exacerbated by high-altitude environments, such as sickle cell anemia, myocardial infarction, EKG abnormalities, and pacemaker issues, among others. The evolution of aircraft types and deployment methods over the past 50 years, including electric aircraft, surveillance drones, air taxis, and the establishment of the Space Force as the sixth branch of the military, is also covered.
