Цель данной публикации - дать сравнительный анализ проблем, связанных с правильными разбиениями пространств постоянной кривизны и дискретными (кристаллографическими) группами движений этих пространств. Основной акцент будет при этом обращен на разбиения гиперболического пространства.Интерес к вопросам кристаллографии гиперболического пространства достаточно велик (со времен обнаружения в некоторых структурах наличия поворотных осей пятого порядка). Поэтому главной целью изложения было сравнение проблем кристаллографии эвклидового и гиперболического пространств, истории возникновения неэвклидовой геометрии и к вопросам аксиоматики вообще и геометрии в частности.
