oder vier vergebliche Anläufe und zwei Korrekturen Literatur und Studentenbewegung. Der Titel mobilisiert Erwartun­ gen, impliziert einen Anspruch, der gegenwärtig kaum zu erfüllen ist. Der Titel setzt mehr miteinander in Beziehung als ,Studentenbewe­ gung’ und ,Literatur’. Erster Anlauf Die Studentenbewegung markiert eine Zäsur in der Entwicklungsge­ schichte der BRD. Nach Abschlug der Rekonstruktionsperiode des westdeutschen Kapitalismus, sich zunehmend verschärfenden Krisen­ tendenzen in einer Reihe von gesellschaftlichen Sektoren, wurde die Brüchigkeit der Legitimationsbasis spätkapitalistischer Gesellschafts­ systeme nach allen Seiten hin offenbar. Vietnamkrieg, Dritte Welt, die evidente Dysfunktionalität einer Vielzahl gesellschaftlicher Insti­ tutionen, die Groge Koalition als Abgesang der Vorstellung einer li­ beralen parlamentarischen Demokratie, die augerparlamentarische Opposition - die sich steigernde Repression (Notstandsgesetzge­ bung): an diesem Punkt setzte die Studentenbewegung historisch ein; in diesem Kontext wäre sie systematisch zu rekonstruieren. Wä­ re - das ist Konjunktiv. Genau das liegt nämlich nicht in der Absicht des vorliegenden Ban­ des. Selbst eine historistisch motivierte Aufarbeitung, über deren Sinn sich erst noch streiten liege, scheint mir derzeit (noch) nicht möglich. Gefordert scheint mir vielmehr eine Aktualisierung in einem strikten, damit aber begrenzten Sinne.
