Years ago, I unexpectedly stumbled upon a joy of landscape photography. While penning a commentary on Paul’s majestic epistle to the Romans, I was struck by the claim in Romans 1:20 that God’s nature can be known through the things he has made. Since that study, I have been on a quest to discover all that the Lord has revealed about himself through the work of his hands.INVISIBLE WITNESS reflects a decade’s worth of landscape photography from across the United States. From the peaks of the Rockies to the beaches of the Pacific; from the plains of the Dakotas to the oceanside cliffs of Maine... from sea to shining sea, America is indeed a land that God has graced. I’m thrilled to share these beautiful landscapes with you, as well as a few stories behind—and devotional thoughts inspired by—their locations. 3
