Como resultado de una investigación desarrollada en el marco del Programa LOGPORT: Innovación Logística y Gestión Portuaria, financiado con recursos provenientes del Sistema General de Regalías (SGR) y liderado por la Universidad del Norte con el respaldo de las gobernaciones del Atlántico, Bolívar y Sucre, surge esta obra que realiza un análisis multisectorial y presenta las ventajas colaborativas, desarrollos metodológicos y casos de estudios relacionados con el clúster de servicios logísticos de la región Caribe colombiana. La investigación, enmarcada en el departamento del Atlántico, identificó oportunidades de mejora desde el punto de vista de costos, tiempos y trámites en las cadenas logísticas de 146 empresas involucradas en procesos de importación o exportación de productos. 10
