In their continued efforts to promote the use of recycled aggregates and the growth of students, the Authors, Prof Sandeep Chaudhary and Dr Boksun Kim, collaborated to create a first-of-its-kind skill development program for students from India and the UK. The program titled 'Inspiring the researchers of tomorrow in sustainable concrete construction' was jointly funded by SPARC in India and UKIERI, British Council, in the UK. The program entailed international student exchanges, expert lectures, hands-on training, industrial field visits, interdisciplinary research projects, collaborative research, research presentation training, and an international symposium. The book documents the learning and experience from the same. The book also presents pedagogic approaches that can be implemented to enhance the learning outcomes and improve the skill development of the young researchers in the field of sustainable construction.
