In the contemporary landscape, NITI shape memory alloys are extensively employed across various engineering fields. The impact of Copper on minor additions to the Nickel and Titanium blend, as well as the behavior of the shape memory alloy wire concerning mechanical properties and multiple applications, is critical. The addition of Copper has been found to enhance strength and wear resistance without detriment to the alloys. A small quantity of Copper increases the hardness of the alloy after the Ageing Process. Moreover, a minor addition of Copper in NITI assists in refining grain size and bolstering mechanical properties and workability.
