H-ombre-S is the theatrical version of the author’s novel of the same name. The story begins with K., the protagonist of F. Kafka’s unfinished novel 'The Castle.' Unlike what happens in the Kafka novel, he will be welcomed into the Castle, which here represents the place of writing, where he will meet many other characters from works by famous authors. They will become aware that they are 'shadows', the result of human creation, and will then attempt to make the leap from the world of writing to the world of reality, to live a true, authentic, and better life, of which they want to be the architects, outside the dreams of their respective authors. They will remain suspended between dream and reality for a long time, eager to carry out their plan.
