La etapa preescolar constituye un periodo fundamental para el desarrollo de los niños. En la actualidad, uno de los factores que influye en esa etapa es la tecnología móvil; por ello, la presente investigación se planteó como objetivo analizar la influencia en el desarrollo intelectual y comportamental del uso de dispositivos móviles en los niños de edad prescolar. Para su desarrollo, se recopiló conceptos relacionados al uso de la tecnología móvil en el ámbito familiar, académico y su impacto en la edad preescolar. La investigación tuvo un enfoque cualitativo con alcance bibliográfico que abordó las ventajas y las desventajas de propiciar aparatos móviles en edad preescolar; asimismo, se analizó los efectos en el desarrollo intelectual y comportamental tras incorporar los dispositivos móviles en el aula y en el hogar. Los principales hallazgos científicos apoyaron el uso de esos dispositivos en la primera infancia; sin embargo, una minoría descartó su uso en edades tempranas.
