No nosso trabalho calculámos as propriedades estruturais electrónicas e magnéticas da liga Ge1-xTMxTe (MT=Mn, Fe) na estrutura NaCl para concentrações (0≤x≤1), o que foi realizado utilizando o método da onda plana linearizada(FP-LAPW+lo) baseado na teoria do funcional da densidade(DFT) e utilizámos a aproximação GGA. As propriedades estruturais (a, B, B’) são determinadas a partir da energia total, e os nossos resultados estão em boa concordância com outros cálculos. A análise da estrutura de bandas e da densidade de estado para uma concentração de x=0,125 e x=0,25 mostrou que o GeMnTe é um semicondutor de gap estreito, enquanto o GeFeTe é um semi-metal. Para as concentrações x=0,5 e x=0,75, ambas as ligas têm um carácter metálico. Além disso, previmos as energias de troca e separação Δx(d) e Δx(pd) e as constantes de troca N0α e N0β são produzidas pelos estados 3d Mn e 3d Fe.Palavras chave: DFT, FPLAPW, Ferromagnetismo, Momento magnético, Energias de separação de spin.
