The author wrote this book, Epilepsy: What is it?, to show just how much epilepsy has altered and changed his life. The aim is to spread the word and educate people about this condition, particularly those who are just starting their lives with epilepsy, as he believes that people really need to learn as much as they possibly can about it. Since the author didn’t know what to expect from epilepsy or how much it would change his life, he thought that the best way to express his true-life story is by writing about it in order to raise awareness to the highest level.Gavin Hogarth is from Liverpool, England, he is extremely pleased and thankful to all his family and friends who have been there for him throughout the years. The author wants everyone to know: Please just let us all keep strong and keep on going.
