La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el currículo y la formación profesional de los estudiantes de la especialidad de Turismo y Hotelería en la Universidad Nacional de Educación 'Enrique Guzmán y Valle', La Cantuta. La investigación nos permitió conocer cómo se encuentra diseñado el currículo que se trabaja con los estudiantes y cómo este se relacionó con su formación profesional, de esta manera forma fue posible redactar algunas recomendaciones que partieron del estudio de la problemática, las mismas que servirán para que los estudiantes desarrollen competentes adecuadas y mejoren su formación profesional. Por ello es importante que el diseño curricular de estudios se encuentre adecuadamente elaborado y de acuerdo a las habilidades y competencias que queremos desarrollar en ellos, así como también es importante que los docentes se encuentren dispuestos a mejorar, actualizarse y renovar el currículo constantemente en coordinación con el equipo de trabajo.
