Das Buch befasst sich mit der Frage der Darstellung des umgebenden Raums auf der Grundlage des Mikrowellenhintergrunds, der mikroelementare Teilchen, nämlich Relikte und Phononen, umfasst. Diese Elemente weisen dieselben Eigenschaften auf wie ein Gasmedium, was wiederum zu einer Änderung des Gravitationskoeffizienten, der Boltzmann-Konstante und der Planckschen Konstante führt. Daraus lässt sich vermuten, dass die Zeit überall unterschiedlich ist und durch die Eigenschaften, d. h. die Dichte des phononischen Mediums des Weltraums, bestimmt wird. In der Nähe von Schwarzen Löchern ist die Dichte am höchsten, d. h. physikalische Prozesse laufen in kurzer Zeit ab. Im offenen Weltraum können diese Prozesse sehr lange dauern und unendlich lange andauern.
