Current learning styles show a growing interest among educators and educational psychologists to increasingly move away from purely instructional models to focus on the study and understanding of the learning process itself. The idea behind this movement is clear: any attempt to improve teaching in order to achieve greater teaching effectiveness must inevitably involve a better, clearer and more comprehensive understanding of learning, and of what is to be learned.
