FrankiVerse Cafe Backrooms: Don’t Trust Time Edition is the first volume in a new series from the creators of the FrankiVerse Cafe Haunted Travel Guide and Coffee & Cryptids - and this time, the investigation isn’t a place. It’s the information layer itself.Franki and Franny Lynn quantum-leap through twelve documented cases of time anomaly, lost time, and high strangeness organized by geographic location - from a backyard vortex in rural Missouri to the oldest written lost time story in recorded history on the coast of Japan. Each chapter goes to the verified record first: what is documented, what is corroborated, what is genuinely unknown. Then it goes to the lore layer: what the internet built on top of the evidence, how the story traveled, and what the distance between those two things reveals about the human need to make sense of experiences that refuse to cooperate with the available categories. At the end of every chapter, Franki and Franny Lynn fire up Coffee & Cryptids from whatever FrankiVerse Cafe location sits closest to the frequency of the case in question, joined by investigators KC and Maurice, chaos agents Fabian and Brodie, and occasionally Mothman, who has opinions about everything and is never wrong.Twelve locations. Twelve cases. One very well-stocked pharmaceutical kit. And the persistent, documented, globally consistent evidence that time is unreliable at best and entirely arbitrary at all other times - no matter how good the clocks get.For fans of deadpan paranormal travel writing, interdimensional coffee shop lore, and the specific pleasure of finding out that the verified record is stranger than the legend.FrankiVerse Cafe Backrooms is a companion series to the FrankiVerse Cafe Haunted Travel Guide and Coffee & Cryptids series. Don’t Trust Time Edition stands alone.
