Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) enables secure digital identity, interoperable payment systems, and data exchange platforms. This publication examines DPI in South Asia and explores how it could help unlock inclusive growth. The publication explains how DPI acts as a foundation for digital economies and how it is being adopted in health, education, agriculture, transport, and logistics. It looks at gaps, challenges, and opportunities in six countries: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. It also discusses DPI use cases from outside the region.
