Sam and his family enjoy a vacation to Disney World where he is thrilled to experience a new ride, The Dino-Soar. This 10- year- old has forever loved everything prehistoric so it’s no surprise when he chooses a dinosaur as a souvenir of his trip. Once home, he finds that his keepsake is more than he bargained for. No longer is the plastic figure just a toy. Sam keeps the dinosaur’s powers to himself until his elderly neighbor accidently learns the secret. The young boy and the old man have much to learn about each other and their friendship helps both of them make some tough, life-changing decisions.
