Rikki Beadle-Blair MBE is a multi-award-winning black gay working class theatre- and film-maker. A tireless mentor of minority and socially-outsider writers and performers, he’s been struck by the lack of working class pieces suitable for performing at auditions by increasingly defiant and determined generations of bold young actors. Common is his - and their - response. Designed to supply the increasing demand for working class audition pieces, Common is a collection of short monologues by fresh and exciting new voices in theatre.
