Este es solo uno de los cuarenta y ocho finales que contiene esta antología de relatos, una clara muestra de cómo tres frases pueden llegar a evocar múltiples realidades, según la subjetividad de quien las enuncie. Así, al menos, lo atestiguan las cuarenta y ocho historias contenidas en esta obra. En unas, la clave se halla oculta dentro de las 48 cartas que un padre escondió’ en otras, una huella exime de toda culpa a quien, al principio, consideraban sospechoso. Las hay también en las que los personajes expresan su frustración y lamentan el tiempo y el esfuerzo que han invertido en algo que acaban perdiendo en menos de dos minutos. Sin embargo, todas ellas tienen un elemento en común: el esfuerzo de sus autores por lograr que, como lector, te sumerjas en mundos e historias donde no todo es lo que parece, donde las distopías ya no te resultarán tan lejanas, o donde el miedo te hará ver que «todo estaba impolutamente dispuesto y sin resto alguno de las manchas de sangre o signos de violencia que yo había dejado el día anterior allí mismo».
