Este cuento, con un trasfondo psicológico, es el debut de la escritora Mónica Cecilia, quien se dejó inspirar por las antiguas leyendas de los pueblos originarios de Sudamérica, su lugar natal. Las cautivantes ilustraciones fueron creadas en acuarela por la pintora Luz Elena Caballero.
