En el añ0 1916 el doctor Carl Gustav Jung descubrió los Mandalas, mientras analizaba los sueños de sus pacientes en el Hospital Psiquiátrico de Zúrich. Los Mandalas representan:La unión del consciente y el subconsciente.La búsqueda del centro y la totalidad del ser.La expresión simbólica del Self y la psique individual.Dentro del colectivo de personas con discapacidad intelectual, el trabajo artístico estaba ausente; no había nada que nos permitiera conocer el alma humana de estas personas, ni el “arte de su alma”, citando a Jung, quien dice que el Mandala es el arte del alma. Mi proyecto consistió en darle imagen y color al arte anímico de seres humanos con una potencia inconsciente pura, natural y clara, en cuyos Mandalas no se presentan estéticas, escuelas ni clichés inducidos. Es, simplemente, la razón pura de su alma y expresión del amor fati.
